The sensational Loki series was such a success that it was greenlit for a second season seemingly in the end credits scene of the Season 1 finale. The story was fascinating and wonderous, and many fans enjoyed the many new faces the show brought into the MCU. After just six episodes, fresh faces have become fan favorites.

Fans have loved Hiddleston's Loki for years, but the series introduced fans to characters that they couldn't believe had been absent from the MCU for so long. Thankfully, many of the main characters are positioned for a return in Season 2. Some are expected to continue their current arcs while others have new arcs to discover at the new TVA.

9 The Villainous Ravonna Renslayer Is Still Pretty Unlikeable

While saying that fans like Renslayer is a stretch, she does have a few moments that make her relatable. However, she is really just a bad person and one of the more villainous characters in the series.

Not only does she prune her alleged best friend for eons, Mobius, she also wouldn't even tell Sylvie the Nexus Event that caused her to be abducted by the TVA. She claims to not remember, but the way she said so seemed like she was holding back, perhaps fans will find out next season.

8 The A.I. Southern Belle Known As Miss Minutes Has Her Moments

Miss Minutes is also a character one might still consider a villain by the end of the first season, but she is much more pleasant than Renslayer with her lovely southern accent. She is also fairly helpful to her allies with respect to providing them with or relaying information and stalling for time.

She seems to be an important part of how He Who Remains oversees the TVA so it's expected that she will return to the new version of the TVA as well. However, considering He Who Remains isn't operating from the shadows at the new TVA, she may not be as necessary.

7 Hunter B-15 Has A Solid Character Arc

Hunter B-15 starts out as a stone-cold jerk, but once she learns the truth about the TVA her heart softens and she becomes an ally to Loki and Sylvie. Regardless of her alliance, she was an important character throughout the show; she was even the one who apprehended Loki in the first episode.

She appears to be a bit more important at the new TVA as she is seen discussing the many new branches with Mobius, suggesting she is more involved than just pruning Variants. Considering certain analysts have become hunters/minutemen at the new TVA, perhaps she has moved up to a managerial position.

6 The Core Group Of Loki Variants Are A Fun Bunch

When the main Loki of the show arrives in the Void at the end of time, he immediately meets a handful of other Lokis that quickly win the hearts of viewers - at least most of them do. Boastful Loki is a fun character but ended up betraying the others so fans aren't too keen on him. Despite not speaking (aside from animal sounds), Gator Loki has quickly become a fan favorite and the focal point of t-shirts everywhere.

Kid Loki is teased to be quite powerful, having killed the Thor of his timeline. He could also be an important piece of the Young Avengers team that Marvel is almost certainly setting up at this point. Classic Loki showcased his incredible powers to help Loki and Sylvie get past Alioth, seemingly sacrificing his life in the process. However, given his ability to create wildly believable illusions that are able to fool even Thanos, fans are hoping to see him return in the next season.

5 The Loveable & Ignorant Analyst Casey Who Becomes Hunter K-5E

While Casey doesn't have much screen time, fans loved him from the moment he asked Loki what a fish was. Loki later "borrows" Casey's lunch beverage only to drown Mobius' salad with it during a convoluted explanation about apocalypse events. Even with minimal exposure, fans can't help but laugh and smile when Casey is on screen.

In the season finale, many fans may not have realized, but Casey can be seen in the background running past Loki, Mobius, and Hunter B-15 at the new TVA. However, he is in full minutemen/hunter attire so fans only found out when they saw the cast credits. Casey could potentially have a much bigger role in the second season, especially considering his popularity among fans.

4 The Star Of The Show, The Loki Variant From Endgame

While most fans love Loki, there are a handful of characters that are actually more likable than the star of the series. That said, fans get to fall in love with Loki all over again as he starts out as his 2012 arrogant superior self and evolves into his post-Ragnarok humanized hero by the end of Season 1.

Hiddleston does a fantastic job of walking the character back and redeveloping with the new arc and new experiences. Fans are certainly excited for the series' second season, but they are also hoping to see Loki in the upcoming Dr. Strange sequel since he was partially responsible for blowing the multiverse wide open.

3 The Incredible Loki Variant Unlike Any Other Loki Who Calls Herself Sylvie

Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) in Loki waving at Loki as she escapes through a time door.

The only other Loki more likable than the main Loki was a Loki that goes by the name of Sylvie. There are a lot of things that make her a Loki, but she also manages to be her own person in a multiverse full of Variants. Di Martino really brings the character to life, and despite her villainous introduction, fans loved her from the start.

With so much of her story still yet to be explored, fans are hoping for a bigger focus on Sylvie for the next season of the show. She also has a lot to deal with having immediately just murdered He Who Remains, after kissing Loki and banishing him to a new version of the TVA.

2 The Ridiculously Charming Overseer Of The TVA, He Who Remains

Jonathan Majors as He Who Remains on Loki

Despite being the overarching villain of the series and the presumed next Big Bad of the MCU, He Who Remains is an incredibly fun and likable guy that fans are looking forward to seeing much more of in the future. Fans were completely confused when the person they had been ready to hate for five weeks was introduced as an ordinary man with a chuckle and a big smile.

During his conversation with Loki and Sylvie, he explains how the TVA came to be and why it is a necessary evil in the multiverse. As fans learn more about the apparent truth and see more of He Who Remain's quirky personality, they develop a liking for the guy. Some fans might find themselves conflicted over the fact that the MCU's next Thanos is one of their new favorite characters.

1 Everyone's Favorite Jet Ski Aficionado, Mobius M. Mobius

It shouldn't surprise anyone that Mobius M. Mobius is at the top of this list. He has been the shining light of the series since day one and Wilson has given fans an incredible live-action interpretation of the mustachioed analyst. Mobius is a gentle spirit that fans immediately trusted despite his employment at the TVA.

He is also one of the funnier characters of the show with some hilarious one-liners and his banter with Loki. While it is a bit sad that the new Mobius has no idea who Loki is, it just means that they get to develop their friendship all over again. Of all of the characters in the show, fans are probably most excited for Mobius' return.
