WARNING: The following contains spoilers for the Season 1 finale of Loki, "For All Time. Always.," streaming now on Disney+.

Though Kate Herron will not return for Loki Season 2, she has a few horror-centric ideas for the show's unnerving animated mascot Miss Minutes.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Herron was asked about potentially doing a "Miss Minutes slasher movie" in the future on account of the Time Variance Authority clock being "utterly terrifying." She enthusiastically supported that premise, saying, "I would love to! That would actually be my dream."

Voiced by renowned voice actor Tara Strong, Miss Minutes first appeared in Loki's pilot as part of a TVA video explaining the organization's purpose and relation to both the Time-Keepers and Sacred Timeline. Later, it's revealed that the anthropomorphic clock is semi-sentient and can not only communicate with Loki and TVA members like Judge Ravonna Renslayer but interact with the environment and search through files as well. These encounters also allude to Miss Minutes' knowing more about the TVA than she lets on, with Ravonna confiding in her about wanting to protect the TVA's creator from harm.

Loki's season finale, however, introduced Miss Minutes through a jump scare just as Loki and Sylvie entered He Who Remains' castle beyond the Void. She then proceeded to tempt the two Variants with the possibility of receiving a perfect life on the timeline in exchange for giving up their search, only for both Lokis to reject her offer. At the same time, Miss Minutes provides Ravonna with some unknown files that she claims "will be more useful," prompting the Judge to leave both Mobius and the TVA "in search of free will." It's currently unclear whether Miss Minutes exists in the new TVA timeline following He Who Remains' murder, with Loki discovering one of his 31st-century Variants in place of the Time-Keeper statues.

Herron recently confirmed that she would not be returning for Loki Season 2, explaining that she never intended to go beyond the six episodes she helmed with head writer Michael Waldron. Herron also said she won't be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe any time soon. "I'm just focused on my own stuff at the moment," said said. "I love Marvel and I'd love to work with them again, but my outing with Loki is what I've done with them."

Until the character makes her horror debut, the all-knowing Miss Minutes has a recurring role on the six-episode Season 1 of Loki, which is streaming in full on Disney+.
