Aside from Loki's travels through time and his association with the Time Variance Authority, there hasn't been a lot for audiences to gnaw on while they eagerly await the premiere. That changed recently when head writer Michael Waldron teased cameos.

Talking to Digital Spy, Waldron discussed the freedom they had to create the show and the character's they could choose to include. He explained, "If they were within the rights, and legal could clear it, there was no reason we couldn't try and chase them down." When asked about possible cameos, the series head writer teased, "Expect the unexpected."

It's what the series' marketing has been telling audiences for some time now, beginning with a promo video for the Disney+ series warning audiences that mischief is unpredictable. Loki follows the titular God of Mischief in an adventure through time and space, following his escape from S.H.I.E.L.D agents during the events of Avengers: Endgame. It should be noted that this version of Loki is that of 2012, before the events of Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War changed him.

Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Richard E. Grant. The series premieres June 9 on Disney+.
