Black Widow and Lady Loki are the odds-on favorites to cameo in Marvel's upcoming Loki -- at least according to new betting data.

Sports betting site Bovada asked which of several MCU and Marvel Comics characters might appear on Loki when it debuts this summer on Disney+, and the clear frontrunners are Black Widow and Lady Loki, who are tied. If you haven't been following the fan theories, then the former may seem an odd choice, and if you aren't familiar with the comics, the latter may be confounding as well.

The teaser for Loki released late last year featured a quick scene that seemed to show Natasha Romanoff with her back to the camera on what looked curiously similar to Vormir, where she sacrificed herself in Avengers: Endgame. Theories quickly popped up that the time-traveling show would visit the planet and see Loki somehow interact with Widow, possibly through the magic of the Soul Stone. The figure is seen in what appears to be a black bodysuit and has red hair, though it looks more like Scarlett Johansson's Avengers: Age of Ultron 'do than her longer locks from Endgame.

Another theory is that Lady Loki is in the trailer, despite having long black hair herself. Still, Loki will explore the God of Mischief's identity, which has many fans thinking that other versions of Loki will appear, as the comics have featured several incarnations. Several female versions of Loki have appeared through the years, including Lady Loki, who debuted in 2008's Thor #5 by J. Michael Straczynski, Oliver Coipel and Marko Djurdjevic. Many fans believe Sophia Di Martino's character on the show will be this take on the trickster.

While Lady Loki and Black Widow lead the betting odds, there are some other interesting options. Right behind them is Lady Sif, who last appeared in Thor: The Dark World but is set to return in Thor: Love and Thunder. Jamie Alexander is no stranger to crossing over to Marvel TV shows as she appeared twice as Sif on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Hawkeye, Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis are the next most likely, followed by Heimdall, another dead character. Thor and Valkyrie are tied for some of the least likely to appear, with Hulk and Nick Fury tied at the bottom.
