A TikTok ad for Disney+'s upcoming Loki series showcases the God of Mischief in many different outfits.The video features Tom Hiddleston's Loki in his Asgardian armor and cape, a Time Variance Authority uniform, his prison clothes and a plain shirt-and-tie look, which he wears while spinning knives. After the display of Loki's main costume, the ad cuts to a fast-paced montage of action scenes featuring Loki, Wumni Mosaku's Hunter B-5 and a mysterious hooded figure. It ends with the series' logo, with its ever-shifting selection of fonts.
Loki is presenting an alternate version of the trickster god from the one who's grown and evolved since 2012's The Avengers; this is the Loki who escaped with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. The six-episode first season is said to feature multiple versions of the character, so it seems like the four costumes seen in this TikTok are only scratching the surface of the different sides of Loki we'll see.
Loki follows Thor's unruly, adopted brother as he jumps throughout human history as an unlikely influencer on historical events.
Loki stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Lexus Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15 and Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane and Eugene Cordero in undisclosed roles. The series premieres June 9 on Disney+.
