WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Loki Episode 5, "Journey Into Mystery," streaming now on Disney+.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are still wrapping their heads around the Variants we're seeing in the Loki TV show. We're accustomed to the haughty version of the Asgardian trickster that Tom Hiddleston plays, but now we're seeing the Classic version, and even Kid Loki in the Void -- all of whom have different personalities and, well, much different outlooks on what "glorious purpose" is. In the latest episode, as we get to know the characters a bit better, it's revealed which is the angriest Loki -- and it should come as no surprise.

It's none other than Alligator Loki, the reptile with the horned helmet that left fans confused when it was first seen. As it turns out, this Loki doesn't speak -- it just hisses -- but things drastically change when they get to Classic's lair for a pow-wow.

They're discussing how they got to this wasteland after pruning, dissecting the Nexus Events that deemed these Gods of Mischief to be abnormalities to the Sacred Timeline. Classic Loki used sorcery to escape Thanos' wrath, when he really should have been killed, while Kid Loki killed Thor -- both events that the Time Variance Authority frowns on as these weren't the Variants' destinies.

When it's time for Boastful Loki, he's clearly exaggerating as he talks about killing the Avengers and taking the Infinity Stones for himself. Admittedly, it fits his name. But while the others don't mind letting him spill his lies, Alligator Loki growls menacingly.

As Classic says, that's reptilian-speak for liar. Boastful then retorts how at least his Nexus Event wasn't eating the wrong neighbor's cat, which angers Alligator Loki, who then lunges at him. It grabs onto Boastful's hand, only for Classic and main Loki to pull the reptile off and toss it back into the plastic pool.

Alligator takes some time and seems to calm down but that goes out the window when President Loki and his goons show up. Boastful betrayed them, selling the crew out, but civil war breaks out as they all argue who should rule. President, however, makes an awful decision when he insults Alligator's presence, which causes the beast to latch onto his arm.

But this time, Alligator rips the hand off clean, leaving President screaming for dear life. As Classic then projects copies for them all to fight, he, Kid, main Loki and Alligator flee the scene through a portal amid the chaos. And as Alligator swallows the hand, it's clear that no one should mess with him as they wouldn't like him when he's angry.

Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane, and Eugene Cordero. New episodes air Wednesdays on Disney+.
