With this year's Arrowverse crossover, "Elseworlds," having concluded last night, actor Elizabeth Tulloch has shared a collection of behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of the DCTV crossover event.
Tulloch, who portrays the Arrowverse's incarnation of Lois Lane, posted photos on her Twitter account during the filming of sequences within the Fortress of Solitude as Tyler Hoechlin's Superman prepares a romantic dinner for the two of them.
Both Tulloch and Hoechlin are seen in costume in between shooting scenes with Tulloch's Lois wearing an outfit as a direct homage to a similar nightgown worn by Margot Kidder's Lois Lane in 1978's Superman: The Movie. The layout of the Fortress and its crystalline design also is heavily reminiscent of how it appeared in the first two Christopher Reeve Superman films.
The two characters appeared prominently throughout the three-episode crossover event, with the final installment on Supergirl leading to several life-changing moments for the fan-favorite comic book couple after their return to the Fortress of Solitude.
The Flash returns from its winter hiatus on Tuesday, January 15, with Supergirl coming back on Sunday, January 20 and Arrow on Monday, January 21.
