Spy x Family's Forgers are learning to live life a quarter-mile at a time in a funny new image taken at a Barnes and Noble store.

The picture was taken and shared online by Twitter user @_nontann. The creative display features an image of Vin Diesel as The Fast and The Furious series' invincible hero, Dominic Torreto, stating "It's about Spy x Family." The young Anya Forger is shown standing confidently alongside Torreto, apparently having been recruited into the street racer-turned counter-terrorism operative's team, which was previously notably lacking a telepath.

Dominic Torreto's love of his family, which supercedes even his love for fast cars and beer that only tastes good if you put a lime in it, has become one of the more popular memes to emerge out of the Fast franchise. The joke has inspired everything from Spider-Man crossovers to livestreams featuring armies of Vin Diesel impersonators chanting his favorite word. While the family jokes have been prevalent on the internet ever since 2011's Fast Five revitalized the franchise, the memes exploded in popularity in 2021 following the release of F9: The Fast Saga, which saw Dom forced to fight his estranged brother, Jakob Torreto, played by WWE superstar John Cena.

Spy x Family, meanwhile, has also become a hit thanks to its family-based humor, though its story of super spies and telepathic children is notably more grounded in tone than Dominic Torreto's adventures. The Eisner Award-nominated manga debuted its long-awaited anime adaptation earlier this year, which has quickly become the breakout hit of the spring anime season.

The espionage-themed comedy was created by writer and artist Tatsuya Endo in 2019 and was originally released as an exclusive for Shonen Jump+, the digital manga service operated by Shuiesha, the publisher of the hit-making Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The story of a super spy and the fake family he puts together for a mission has quickly become one of the service's most popular titles, with its print releases achieving a global circulation of over 21 million copies. In addition to being a commercial success, Endo's manga has already been nominated for two Eisner Awards; first in 2021, where it lost to horror auteur Junji Ito's similarly acclaimed Remina, and once again in 2022, where it has once again been nominated for the award for Best U.S. Edition of International Material-Asia.

The Spy x Family anime is currently being simulcast on Crunchyroll. Endo's manga is available in English in both print and digital formats from VIZ Media.
