Hugh Jackman played Wolverine in many X-Men movies for nearly two decades. The last time he played the role was in Logan. The movie told the story of Logan and Charles helping a girl named Laura, who turns out to be Logan's daughter, escape from the Reavers. Things have changed a lot since they fought alongside many other mutants and embraced their powers.
Logan is one of the greatest movies in the series and the entire superhero genre. Though fans miss Jackman playing the titular character, this was an excellent way to end his story. There were a lot of impactful quotes throughout the film that the audience still remembers.
10 "You Know The Drill. Get The Hell Out Of Here. Go!"
During Logan, Charles, and Laura's journey, they meet a family and plan to stay with them for a night since they haven't had much sleep. Will Munson, the father of the family, and Logan go out to fix the water and get into trouble with the company that owns the land around the Munsons' house. After Logan speaks up against them, the boss threatens them and plans to have them walk away on the count of three. Logan grabs the gun and hits the boss in the head while Will takes out his gun, threatening them. Scared of what will happen to them, the boss and his employees leave.
9 "When I Found You, You Were Pursuing A Career As A Cage Fighter. A Warm Capper To A Life As An Assassin. Hooked On Barbiturates. You Were An Animal. But We Took You In. I Gave You A Family."
In the beginning of the movie, it is revealed that Charles has become sick and that Logan is taking care of him. He cannot recognize his student when he first sees him and resists taking his medicine. After Logan manages to give it to him, Charles realizes that it was Logan who he was facing. After Logan tells him that the mutants may have been God's mistake, Charles says these words.
8 "You Can Talk? What's All This B******* Been For The Last 2,000 Fricking Miles?"
For the majority of the movie, everyone was led to believe that Laura couldn't speak. However, after saving Logan and bringing him to a doctor, he thanks her. She finally talks and tells him that she wanted to go to Eden.
After the two argue about it, Logan finally gives in and the two go there. Despite the audience's surprise that Laura could talk the entire time, this was also one of the funniest scenes in the film.
7 "It's Made Out Of Adamantium. It's What They Put Inside Of Us. That's Why It Can Kill Us, Probably What Is Killing Me Now. Anyway, I Got This A Long Time Ago And I Kept It As A Reminder Of What I Am. Now I Keep It To, Uh, Actually I, Uh, I Was Thinking Of Shooting Myself With It, Like Charles Said."
After Logan had a nightmare, he woke up to find his daughter watching him. They talk about the differences in their nightmares. In Laura's, she gets hurt but in Logan's, he hurts others. Changing the subject, they talk about the Adamantium in their bodies and why Logan keeps a part of it that isn't in him. Laura then told him that she's hurt bad people.
6 "I Wish I Could Say You Were A Good Pupil But The Words Would Choke Me."
When the mutants had dinner with the Munsons, they reminisced about the days that Charles had his school. Charles tells the Munsons that it was a "special needs school" and that Logan was there, who tells them that he got kicked out a couple of times. Charles says these words, giving everyone at the table, and the audience, a good laugh.
5 "You Got Your Rebecca, Your Delilah, Your Blah, Blah, Blah, Whatever. Everything You've Asked For, You Got It! And It Is Better This Way, Because I Suck At This. Bad S*** Happens To People I Care About. You Understand Me?"
Once she realizes that Logan plans on leaving her, Laura gets upset. He thinks that she should be happy to be with her friends and grateful for giving them money. He said these words to her as he got frustrated due to her expectations and all that happened to them. After hearing this, she tells her father that she will be fine since she doesn't think he cares about her.
4 "The Goal Was Not To End Mutant Kind, But To Control It. I Realized We Didn't Stop Perfecting What We Eat And Drink, That We Could Use Those Products To Perfect Ourselves. To Distribute Gene Therapy Discretely Through Everything, From Sweet Drinks To Breakfast Cereals."
At the end of the movie, the Reavers try to capture Laura and the rest of the children. Wolverine helps fight for the kids and meets Zander Rice, the leader of the Reavers. Logan actually killed Zander's father years prior.
After Zander tries to get Logan to understand why he did all the terrible things he's done to the children, Logan kills him. The children help fight and defeat the Reavers, but also lose Logan.
3 "This Is Not The First Time I've Hurt People. Until Today, I Didn't Know. You Wouldn't Tell Me. So We Just Kept On Running Away From It. I Think I Finally Understand You."
Charles was very happy to spend the night at the Munsons until he remembered the past that Logan tried to make him forget. The two had argued a lot in the movie and Charles didn't understand many things that were going on around him. Thinking that he was speaking to Logan, Charles actually said his final words to X-24, a clone of Logan created by the Reavers, who then killed Charles and the Munsons.
2 "If You Are Watching This, It Means That I Am Dead. I Am Not Sure If Any Other Children Survived. We Were Separated. There's No More Money. That Was A Lie. She's Not My Child, But I Love Her. You May Not Love Her, But She Is Your Child. Please, I Beg You, Take Her To Safety."
Before she died, Gabriela was the one who was trying to bring Laura to Eden. She recorded a video for Logan to watch that explained everything he would need to know. The Reavers experimented on children and trained them to fight, not caring about what the kids wanted. Once they decided that the children weren't worth anything to them anymore, they tried to kill all of them, but some escaped. Gabriela was able to rescue Laura and planned on bringing her to Eden. Her final request was for Logan to bring his daughter there.
1 "Take Your Friends, And Run. Run. They'll Keep Coming And Coming. Listen, You Don't Have To Fight Anymore. Go, Go. Don't Be What They Made You. Laura, Laura. So, This Is What It Feels Like."
Due to his healing abilities, nobody ever thought that Logan would die. However, he passed at the end of the movie and these were his final words. Laura was devastated that she lost her father days after meeting him and cried as he said his goodbye to her. She held a short funeral for him before joining her new friends.
