Netflix's upcoming adaptation of Locke & Key is set to become the next iconic horror series from the streaming service. The show was initially shuffled around from Fox to Hulu before Netflix picked up the series for a ten-episode season. As the adaptation finally comes together, the cast continues to expand.

According to VarietyHappy Together star Felix Mallard has been cast in the show as Lucas Caravaggio. "A charming teenager," the character's "exposure to magic leads to serious complications" for the Locke family. In the comics, he is an apparent friend to series protagonists Kinsey and Tyler Locke before his true supernatural nature is revealed.

Written by Joe Hill, who is also one of the writers for the television series, Locke & Key focuses on the Locke family moving into their ancestral home after a tragedy. There, they discover a number of keys that open doors throughout the house, leading to strange and scary adventures for the family.

Emilia Jones, Connor Jessup, Dabby Stanchfield, Laysla De Oliveira and Jackson Robert Scott have also already been cast in various roles for the show. The series is currently filming, and there is no scheduled premiere date.
