Better buckle up, bastich, because the Main Man is coming to your television screen.

The Syfy network brought its fan-favorite Superman prequel series Krypton to Comic-Con International in San Diego this Saturday, and it's there that it was announced that DC Comics character Lobo was set to join the series in Season 2.

Lobo is the last of an alien race form a planet called Czarnia. He is a space motorcycle-riding mercenary who loves to curse, smoke cigars and deliver a bloody beatdown with his trusty chain and impressive firepower. While no actor has been cast in the role yet, the character is set to have quite an impact on the series, given his popularity.

Season 1 of Krypton featured many comic book characters like General Zod, Brainiac and Adam Strange. Now, we can add Lobo to a list that is only getting longer. It's unclear as of yet if the character will appear as a villain, a friend, or a hard-hitting third-party. Our guess is, Lobo will be none of these things. He's his own man, after all.
