Reynold's is known for his sarcastic and sardonic tweets, and his donation announcement was no exception. The Canadian actor started the tweet by calling COVID-19 "an asshole" and continued his fake feud with Hugh Jackman by implying that his fellow superhero was lonely, emotional and isolated. He even added a fake number for fans to check on Jackman.

Reynold's originally played Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine before completely rebooting the character in 2016 with Deadpool and its sequel. He and Jackman have had a running rivalry throughout the movies and over social media.

While Lively's post was a heartfelt message to fans about distancing and human connection, the former Gossip Girl and A Simple Favor star didn't miss an opportunity to tease her husband. She added to the bottom of her message, "Now can someone please tell Ryan that 'emotional distancing' from his mother-in-law is not a thing."
