Disney looks to continue its current success in adapting its animated features to live-action with "The Sword in the Stone," as reported by THR. Bryan Cogman, who has written episodes for all five seasons of HBO's "Game of Thrones," is attached to write the script. Disney vet Brigham Taylor, who's worked on all four "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, will produce.

The animated "Sword in the Stone" was released in 1963, based on T. H. White's 1938 novel of the same name, telling the story of a young King Arthur. It was Disney's last animated feature released before Walt Disney's death, and the titular sword in the stone occupies a prominent, popular photo-op spot at multiple Disney parks.
