The Powerpuff Girls have arrived -- and they have a brand new look. As production on the pilot gets underway, The CW has released an official first-look photo of Powerpuff's Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup.

The photo puts series stars Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron and Yana Perrault in their characters' signature colors. However, these costumes are a far cry from the dresses the girls wore during their time as superheroes. In the pilot, which picks up when the girls are adults, they will wear more casual clothing, as below.

Last week, leaked photos from the Powerpuff set revealed the girls wearing their iconic costumes from the cartoon. However, they will only wear this signature look during flashback sequences, which will explore their teenage years. As adults, they will wear costumes more in line with the photo above.

Created by Craig McCracken, The Powerpuff Girls made its debut on Cartoon Network in 1998 and was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for the first four seasons and Cartoon Network Studios for the remaining two. The series centers on three superpowered, kindergarten-aged girls: Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup. They live in the fictional suburb of Townsville, USA with their father, Professor Utonium, who created them by accidentally adding "Chemical X" to a mixture intended to spawn the perfect little girls. The three pint-sized heroes use their impressive array of abilities to battle such recurring foes as Mojo Jojo and Him.

Powerpuff stars Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, Yana Perrault, Donald Faison and Nicholas Podany. The pilot has yet to receive a release date.
