The live-action Dora the Explorer film has released its first movie poster, confirming its theatrical title and providing a first look at Dora's trusty simian companion Boots.
Now titled Dora and the Lost City of Gold, the poster shows Dora and Boots navigating a South American rainforest to discover the mythical abandoned city.
In addition to the poster reveal, the official Twitter account for the film revealed that the premiere of the first trailer for the eagerly anticipated film will take place sometime during the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards this Saturday.

The upcoming live-action film is expected to be a continuation to the popular animated series and will see Dora begin high school. As she deals with the trials and tribulations of being a teenager, Dora and her friend Diego must search for a lost Incan city where her parents are being held captive by mysterious antagonists.
Directed by James Bobin, Dora and the Lost City of Gold stars Isabela Moner, Eugenio Derbez, Temuera Morrison, Eva Longoria, Michael Peña, Adriana Barraza, Q'orianka Kilcher and Benicio del Toro as Swiper. It hits theaters on August 2.
