The popular donghua (or Chinese animation) series Link Click is receiving a second season, and its first trailer indicates that the new season will be just as intense as the first.

Link Click tells the story of Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang, workers at a small photography shop in a modern metropolis who use their special abilities to enter their clientele's photographs. The two take their jobs very seriously, and for them, nothing is more important than fulfilling each order, no matter the peril or danger involved. The new trailer, which is available on bilibili's official website, confirms that Season 2 will be filled with danger, depicting Lu being rushed to a hospital after being brutally stabbed.

An original story produced by Haoliners Animation League (Fox Spirit Matchmaker, Legend of Exorcism), Link Click debuted on bilibili, a Chinese video-sharing website, and Funimation on April 30, 2021, receiving praise from both critics and fans and garnering over 180 million views. Li Haoling serves as the series's director with Sanjou Yasuka acting as director of photography and Tanji Takumi, Asami Tomoya and Zhu Lipiao handling the art direction.

It has also been confirmed that Link Click is receiving a Japanese dub, which stars several popular and experienced voice actors. Toshiyuki Toyonaga (The Prince of TennisPretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal) is playing Toki/Cheng Xiaoshi, Takahiro Sakurai (Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: BabyloniaFena: Pirate Princess) is voicing Hikaru/Lu Guang and Aoi Koga (My Senpai is Annoying, Blue Period) plays Rin/Qin Ling.

Because Funimation has been making a concerted effort to expand its catalog of Chinese animation, Link Click isn't the only donghua series currently available on the streaming service. There is also Shenying Animation's supernatural action drama Drowning Sorrows in Raging FireLX Animation Studio's science fiction action series The Defective and Haoliners Animation League's urban fantasy The Daily Life of the Immortal King.

Moreover, Funimation also has both the English subtitled and dubbed versions of the popular BL (Boys' Love) series Heaven Official's Blessing, which tells the story of a prince who has been kicked out of heaven multiple times and the demon king who is fascinated with him. The dub's cast includes veteran voice actors like James Cheek (Assassin Classroom, One Piece), Howard Wang (SK8 the Infinity), Lucien Dodge (The Seven Deadly Sins, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable) and Apphia Yu (My Hero AcademiaThat Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime).

Currently, there is no set release date for Link Click's second season, but the Japanese dub is expected to premiere sometime in January 2022.
