Lindsay Lohan is making a comeback with a Netflix romantic comedy, likely just in time for Christmas next year.Netflix offered a first look photo of the currently untitled holiday film, in which Lohan will co-star with Chord Overstreet (Glee). According to the film's logline, Lohan will portray a "newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress" who loses her memory in a skiing accident and, in typical rom-com fashion, finds herself in the care of Overstreet's "handsome, blue-collar lodge owner owner" and his "precocious" daughter. The project is currently filming and arrives on Netflix sometime in 2022.RELATED: Hawkeye Director Promises an 'Unexpected' and 'Absurd' Christmas Story

Directed by Janeen Damian, who previously helmed Hallmark films like A Christmas Waltz, the untitled rom-com is written by Damian, Michael Damian, Jeff Bonnett and Ron Oliver. The cast also includes George Young (Malignant), Jack Wagner (The Bold and the Beautiful), Sean Dillingham (Yellowstone) and Olivia Perez (In The Heights).

Originally announced by Netflix in May 2021, the film is currently shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah. Other reports claim that the film's working title is Christmas in Wonderland, though Netflix has not officially confirmed, and will be another addition to Netflix's growing Christmas Extended Universe.

Though the untitled Lohan project is not the first romantic comedy to feature an amnesiac heiress (Overboard), this marks Lohan's official return to the screen, though she has appeared in film and television sporadically over the past few years. Known primarily as a child star from films like Parent Trap, one of her last projects includes the 2019 MTV reality show, Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club.

Lohan's untitled Christmas romantic comedy comes to Netflix in 2022.
