As Brooklyn Nine-Nine settles into its new network on NBC for its sixth season, self-professed fan Lin-Manuel Miranda will appear on the sitcom as a guest star.
Miranda, who created and starred the award-winning Broadway musical Hamilton, will appear in the episode "The Golden Child" as Amy Santiago's brother and rival, David.
The episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, March 6 in the series' usual time slot of 9 pm ET/PT. Miranda's casting lines up with previous comments by series' co-creator Dan Goor, who hoped to get the actor to appear at some point on the show in Season 6.

In less than 48 hours since the news of its cancellation went public, NBC announced they would pick up the series for a sixth season.
