Lilian Garcia is bringing her podcast, Chasing Glory, to the free version of the WWE Network, and she told CBR in an exclusive interview how she is looking forward to coming home.

The first podcast episode on WWE Network included an interview with Braun Strowman, part of WWE's new generation. According to Garcia, WWE is very different in today's world and is, in some areas, better than it has ever been.

"Right now, it's crazy different. Obviously, even backstage, it's so quiet because it's very limited to the amount of superstars that they have there," Garcia told CBR, referring to the changes due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions. "It's a little eerie for me."

However, when looking at WWE's talent, she pointed out it is "awesome to see the growth."

"Especially for the women," Garcia emphasized. "It's awesome to see them getting an opportunity to have longer matches, to have more than just one match on the show."

Garcia said this started even before the WWE Women's Evolution with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.

"It was Ivory and Jacqueline and Trish and Lita -- they started that Evolution," Garcia said. "And I think it's just been incredible to see where it has gone from there."

Garcia joined WWE in 1999 and was there when the company started putting more emphasis on women matches. She was present when Trish Stratus and Lita became more than just managers, and when names like Mickie James and Beth Phoenix rose up the ranks. Garcia also witnessed the rise of the Bella Twins. Now, the women main event shows and even had their own PPV, 2018's WWE Evolution.

"There's so much opportunity, much more opportunity," Garcia said. "You've got the three shows. Now you've got NXT, SmackDown and Raw. You've got just the variety of superstars, that diversity. It's incredible. It's kudos to WWE for allowing all of this diversity to happen and then to the fans for being so open to it."

Lilian Garcia hosts her Chasing Glory podcast every Monday on WWE Network and is available on all major podcast platforms.
