Liam Neeson Comes Knocking in 'A Monster Calls' Teaser Trailer

We at last get a look at footage from "A Monster Calls" with this teaser trailer for the adaptation of the acclaimed fantasy novel by Patrick Ness and Jim Kay.

Directed by Juan Antonio Bayona ("The Impossible," "The Orphanage") from a screenplay by Ness, the film stars newcomer Lewis MacDougall as a 12-year-old who attempts to deal with his mother's illness and the bullying of classmates by escaping to a fantasy world of monsters and fairy tales.

As you can probably guess the trailer's narration, Liam Neeson plays the Monster of the film's title. Arriving in October 2016, "A Monster Calls" also stars Felicity Jones, Signourney Weaver and Toby Kebbell.
