A new character poster for Shoresy, featuring Jared Keeso's mostly-toothy grin as the titular hockey player, assures fans the wait for the Letterkenny spin-off is almost over.Hulu shared the new character poster on Twitter, asking fans, "Can I get a Puck Yeah?" Keeso departs from his clean-cut look as Wayne in Letterkenny to portray the scruffy, foul-mouthed hockey bully in Shoresy, complete with a missing tooth in his grin. Two brief teaser trailers for the Letterkenny prequel spin-off have been released prior to the poster. RELATED: Letterkenny Drops International Women's Day Episode Trailer and Clips

Hulu released the first bite-sized trailer for Shoresy in February and, along with it, revealed the series' impressive cast of Canadian legends, including professional and junior league hockey players recognizable to fans of the sport. Jonathan-Ismael Diaby, Terry Ryan, Jon "Nasty" Mirasty, Brandon Nolan, Jordan Nolan, Keegan Long, and Bourke Cazabon are among the hockey players fans can expect to see make appearances in Shoresy.

Born and raised in Ontario, Keeso has a personal history with hockey that has manifested itself into some of Letterkenny's most beloved storylines and characters. Before donning #69 for the fictional Letterkenny Irish, Keeso played junior hockey for the Strathroy Rockets and the Listowel Cyclones. "Pro Hockey Media Relations 101" was among the first batch of Keeso's YouTube sketches entitled Letterkenny Problems which eventually lead to the development of Letterkenny as a fully fleshed-out comedy universe.

Much like short-form, animated spin-off Littlekenny, Shoresy will spin out of Letterkenny, following the hockey player as he moves to Sudbury to join the Bulldogs hockey team. The sports comedy will see Shoresy chirp and selfish-hockey his way into a hopeful championship run with the struggling senior Triple-A hockey team in Ontario.

Hulu recently released a second clip for the series which featured a lengthy and familiar form of foul-mouth, facially-obscured harassment that made Shoresy such a terror to the Letterkenny Irish. While Riley and Jonesy may be safe from Shoresy's chirps in this series, Keeso will also be joined by fellow Letterkenny castmates, Jacob Tierney, Kim Cloutier and Max Bouffard as JJ Frankie J. Shoresy will release on Hulu in May, and fans will be able to see for themselves what surprises Letterkenny producers Keeso and Tierney have in store for them on and off the rink.

Both Letterkenny and Littlekenny are currently available to stream on Hulu, with Shoresy joining the expanding Canadian comedy universe on May 27.
