"I take this partnership thing very seriously," Murtaugh tells his new partner before the duo leap into action in the busy streets of Los Angeles.

Scott replaces original star Clayne Crawford who was fired from the television adaptation of the classic action film franchise after reported bad behavior on set following the conclusion of the second season. Scott's character is an entirely new character to the franchise who joins the LAPD to be closer to his family, ultimately becoming Murtaugh's new partner.
