A mere week after news broke of his involvement in the upcoming magic-based heist film Now You See Me, director Louis Leterrier already has signed onto to another project — one that takes him away from the world of magic and into the realm of science (fiction).
The Hollywood Reporter reveals Leterrier has agreed to direct and produce Universal’s upcoming sci-fi disaster film G. The plot to the conservatively titled project is being kept a secret, however the trade paper reports that Universal sees G as a mix of The Day After Tomorrow and Taken.
The project comes from Managment 360’s Guymon Casady, who produces alongside Mark Gordon, and George Nolfi and Michael Hackett of Gambit Pictures. Filmmakers are currently in the process of looking for screenwriters for the script.
