Let The Right One In TV Series In Has Cast A Vampiric Lead

After TNT opened the doors (pun intended) and greenlit the pilot to “Let the Right One In”, it was only a matter of time before some casting news came rolling in. Now, we know who will be playing the female lead in the upcoming drama based on John Ajvide Lindqvist’s 2005 best-selling vampire novel.

According to Deadline, Kristine Froseth will play Eli, a charismatic vampire that a young boy named Henry sparks a friendship with. Eli, lonely and friendless (probably due to being a vampire), finds herself somewhere in Vermont when she comes upon Henry, who is equally alone, thus igniting the friendship.

Prior to landing her vampiric role, Froseth just wrapped shooting on an upcoming web series called "Junior," and will also star in “Rebel in the Rye” along with Nicholas Hoult and Kevin Spacey.

“Teen Wolf” show runner Jeff Davis has been tasked with adapting the book for the cable network. He will be writing the script and serving as executive producer alongside Marty Edelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios.

There’s no word on any other casting choices, but with one lead vampire out of the way, it shouldn’t be long now before we know who our Henry will be.
