Leslie Grace is starring in the upcoming HBO Max film Batgirl as the titular character, but for Halloween she took on a different kind of portrayal of Barbara Gordon.Grace posted a video on Twitter that showed her putting on makeup and getting dressed up in an apparently store-bought pink and purple onesie, plus a plastic mask. She begins the video, which is set to Batgirl's theme from the original live-action Batman TV show, with the words, "When they ask for pictures of the Batgirl suit..." no doubt referring to fans' impatience to see the real outfit she'll be wearing in the film.RELATED: Batgirl Directors Confirm Batman Is in the Movie - But Not 'Which' Batman

Grace finished the video by striking a few poses and aiming a barefooted kick at the camera. Although some of her followers may still be hoping for more news and images from the movie, the overall reaction to seeing her embrace her superhero role in the Twitter thread was overwhelmingly positive.

Batgirl found its lead actor after a long search, casting Grace, who is best known for the 2021 film In the Heights as well as her successful music career. The film will be released exclusively on HBO Max sometime in 2022, with an exact release date yet to be announced.
