Leslie Grace, star of Warner Bros.'s now-canceled Batgirl, released behind-the-scenes footage from the DC Extended Universe film.
Shared on Grace's TikTok, the video is comprised of several clips from the production of Batgirl. Among the footage includes a look at Grace in her full Batgirl costume, as well as an altercation between Grace's Barbara Gordon and an unknown assailant, and various shots of her stunt work and fight choreography.
Grace has previously shared behind-the-scenes footage and pictures from the Batgirl set since the film was scrapped by Warner Bros. Discovery. Most recently, she posted a series of photos of the actor in her battle-damaged super suit.

It was revealed in August that Warner Bros. had opted to shelve Batgirl completely, despite the film being mostly finished. At the time of its cancellation, the film was estimated to have cost between $70 and $100 million and would have premiered exclusively on HBO Max. According to inside sources at the studio, the decision to scrap Batgirl was "not driven by the quality of the film or the commitment of the filmmakers, but by the desire for the studio’s slate of DC features to be at a blockbuster scale." In a Q2 earnings call held on Aug. 4, Warner Bros. Discovery president and CEO David Zaslav indicated that part of the reasoning behind Batgirl's cancellation was to "protect the DC brand."
The confirmed cast of Batgirl also included J.K. Simmons as James Gordon, Brendan Fraser as the villain Firefly and Michael Keaton reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman after first appearing in Tim Burton's Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992). Test audiences for Batgirl reportedly compared the superhero film to a "bad episode of TV," though they praised Grace's performance as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl. Overall, Batgirl was reportedly described as "a low-stakes superhero origin story with style and strong performances."
Despite the abrupt cancellation of Batgirl, Grace's future in the DCEU might not be over yet. Warner Bros. is reportedly looking to bring the actor back as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl for either a new standalone project or for an appearance in either a DCEU or original WB project. These reports have not been officially confirmed.
Filming for Batgirl had been completed after production began in early December 2021, but the film was first announced in March 2017. It was later confirmed that co-directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah would take over the project with a script from Christina Hodson, who wrote for The Flash and Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). The film had not yet received a release date.
