LEGO Tower Bridge Claims Guinness World Records Feat

A team of LEGO aficionados, led by LEGO-certified master builder Duncan Titmarsh, have constructed a massive replica of the famous London landmark Tower Bridge — and claimed the Guinness World Records title for the “largest LEGO sculpture (most bricks)” in the process.

The impressive build contains exactly 5,805,846 individual LEGO pieces, beating the previous record holder — a “Star Wars” X-wing Fighter — by 470,646 bricks.

At 13-meters (42 and a half-feet) in height, the bridge is as high as a two-story house and was commissioned for the launch of the new Land Rover Discovery seven-seat SUV at an event that saw the British adventurer Bear Grylls abseil down the record-breaking structure.
