LEGO takes on 'Minecraft' with 'LEGO Worlds'

Less than two months after WB Games and TT Games announced LEGO's answer to Disney Infinity and Skylanders, they're returned to officially unveil what appears to be LEGO's response to the wildly popular Minecraft.

Available beginning today through STEAM Early Access, to allow for feedback and improvements, LEGO Worlds is an open-world, fully customizable game for players to explore and manipulate with LEGO models and a brick-by-brick editing tool, unlocking everything from cowboys and vampires to steamrollers and digging machines as they go.

The game is expected to remain in Early Access until the end of the year, with a release planned for early next year. Watch the first trailer below.
