An eagle-eyed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt fan noticed a clever reference to a famous glitch from the game in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

Reddit user sleepyralphiee posted the sighting to a Witcher subreddit, explaining they thought they'd found a reference to an often memed glitch from the game's initial release. One half of the image shows the famous Roach glitch, which saw Geralt's horse ending up in random, awkward positions when he called her -- like on top of a roof, as the image shows. On the other side is an image that appears to be taken from the planet of Kef-Bir, which appeared in The Rise of Skywalker as the site of Rey and Kylo Ren's famous battle amongst ocean waves. In the image, a horned horse, known in the Star Wars universe as an Orbak, stands on top of a thatched roof.

Along with a number of fans expressing delight at the Easter egg, others said they were disappointed to have never encountered the Roach bug despite numerous playthroughs. Besides acting as Geralt's trusty steed, Roach is known for glitching a great deal in the games. Another thing she's known for is not being one horse. Geralt acquires and loses a number of steeds through the books and the games and names every horse the same thing.

The Witcher series is one of the most beloved in gaming, with the third entry, Wild Hunt, often considered one of the greatest games of all time. Even seven years since its launch, Witcher fans discover something new to love or appreciate about the title. Some make mods to add characters from the game to other titles for further adventures, such as one that puts Geralt's daughter Ciri in The Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim.

Although The Witcher 3's glitch is famous, it is far from the only series to endure bugs. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has come under fire lately for its game-ruining bugs. For a month following its launch, fans inundated the game's official Twitter page with complaints after every new post, demanding the developers release a patch to repair the major glitches, many of which prevented progress in the game. The developers finally released a patch this week, but LEGO Star Wars fans reported that it doesn't fix every issue with the game. Some reported that they could not escape hyperspace during a smuggling mission, while others said they only got a white screen. Though decidedly less fun and charming than Roach's rooftop adventures, these glitches have caught the attention of fans with similar levels of fervor.

Both The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are now available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
