A recent post on Reddit revealed several popular characters from The Mandalorian Season 2 as mini-fig icons, unveiling their appearance in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga DLC based on the show.
NinoSW1 leaked the pictures on Reddit last week in the Lego Star Wars Video Game subReddit. Although LEGO Star Wars already has a Mandalorian Season 1 DLC, the game is set to release one for the show's second season, fittingly scheduled for the unofficial Star Wars holiday on May 4. Although the leak does not reveal what the mini-figs will look like in the game, the pictures give fans an idea of what to expect from LEGO Star Wars' interpretation of the characters.
Characters featured in the leak include Ahsoka Tano, Moff Gideon, Boba Fett, Fennec Shand and Bo-Katan Kryze. Alongside the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga DLC featuring The Mandalorian's second season, May 4 also sees the release of a DLC for The Bad Batch. As with the Mandalorian DLC, the pack for The Bad Batch features several of the show's most popular characters, including Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair and Echo.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga adapts all three trilogies into LEGO's particular brand of madcap fun, featuring five chapters per episode. Players can also choose to start from whichever trilogy and play the game in the order they please. With almost 400 playable Star Wars characters and over 800 NPS, the game appears to be a comprehensive adaptation of the films. The game makes for a creative reinvention of nostalgic Star Wars fun, earning it favorable reviews from fans and critics alike. Fans of The Mandalorian have more to look forward to than just the DLC.
