A fan of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga recreated the game's poster with the character's live-action counterparts.
Created and posted to Reddit by u/EverythingArrowverse, the fan-made image features every hero and villain depicted on the game's poster pulled from their respective appearances in the Original, Prequel and Sequel Trilogies. Darth Vader reigns over everyone as Rey, Finn and Chewbacca take center stage, backed up by scenes depicting the Battle of Geonosis on the left and the Battle of Hoth on the right. While all the characters are represented by the actors fans will undoubtedly recognize, the vehicles depicted in the background have also transformed from LEGO into their on-screen versions. The one notable exception is Luke Skywalker who has seemingly been pulled from Star Wars Battlefront II.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the latest entry in TT Games' franchise, reimagining every mainline film in the beloved sci-fi series as the blocky building toy. Players can step into the boots of over 400 different characters as they embark on an epic journey across the stars, experiencing the space opera of the Skywalker family legacy in a galaxy far, far away.
While the game will be familiar to fans of previous LEGO adaptions, The Skywalker Saga seeks to reinvent key areas of the series by implementing new mechanics and systems. Characters are now split into classes that can be upgraded with skill points while the combat is functionally more layered. Melee fighters can now choose between different attacks to string together combos while those who prefer blasters can use a targeting reticle to make their shots count. When not completing the game's story missions, players can also roam around several open-world hub areas based on some of Star Wars' most iconic planets.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga debuted to almost universal praise from critics, with many hailing it as both one of the best LEGO games and one of the best Star Wars games ever made. CBR's Jacob Creswell writes, "The key elements one would come to expect from a LEGO game are all here, including fun levels, unique puzzles, and snappy pick-up-and-play controls. A little bit of extra combat and exploration complexity doesn't make The Skywalker Saga any less of an amazing LEGO game."
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S PC and Nintendo Switch.
