This year, LEGO celebrates 20 years of Star Wars. In anticipation of this milestone, LEGO has released five anniversary sets as well as a special anniversary logo.
LEGO Star Wars, the toy manufacturer's first-ever licensed property, released its first sets alongside Star Wars: The Phantom Menace's theatrical debut in 1999. Now, LEGO has re-released five special edition sets, including the Imperial Dropship, Anakin’s Podracer, Clone Scout Walker, Snowspeeder and Slave I. Each of the sets will bear the special anniversary logo, as seen below.
Additionally, a massive recreation of LEGO Star Wars 20th Anniversary logo was built in brick to celebrate the milestone. A timelapse video of its construction can be viewed below.
