LEGO has unveiled a minifigure of Marvel's Spider-Man as he appears in the Playstation 4-exclusive video game, with his Advanced Suit complete with prominent white logo across his chest. The figure, an exclusive, celebrates Comic-Con International's 50th anniversary next month in San Diego.
The minifigure exclusive will be given away to select Comic-Con International attendees. Randomized, instant-win drawings at the show on Thursday, July 18 will award the minifigure to lucky winners.
In the game's story, the Advanced Suit was developed by Otto Octavius. At the time, he believed Peter Parker secretly helped Spider-Man develop his crime-fighting technology. After the classic Spider-Man costume is damaged in the game's prologue against the Kingpin, Octavius repairs it with additional upgrades built-in. Players can level up and customize the suit over the course of the game.
Marvel's Spider-Man is developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony. Following its release, it became one of the bestselling, most critically acclaimed video games released last year. It is available now for PlayStation 4.
Comic-Con International in San Diego runs Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21.
