Cosmo Is the Real Hero in This LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Trailer


A brand new story trailer has arrived for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, and it thrusts Cosmo the Spacedog into the narrator's seat as he gives fan the low-down on the upcoming game.

The trailer sheds a bit of light on the Game's story, which sees the mightiest heroes across the galaxy come together to take on time-traveling despot Kang. The footage sees Cosmo - the telepathic Soviet canine cosmonaut - alerting a huge roster of super heroes about the villain. Kang steals a whole host of cities and locations across time and space, forming the Open Hub World of Chronopolis in an attempt to take over the universe. To stop his plan from coming into fruition, heroes such as Spider-Man, Thor, Star-Lord, She-Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel must assemble.

The trailer also teases the Season Pass for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, which is included in the Deluxe Edition of the game. The Season Pass provides new missions that are centered around a collection of Marvel's upcoming movies: Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Ant-Man and the Wasp.

The sequel to 2013’s original LEGO Marvel Superheroes title, LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 tasks players with taking down the time-traveling villain Kang the Conqueror as they visit different time periods and settings from across the Marvel multiverse through the the game’s hub world, Chronopolis. Locations featured in the game include Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Attilan, Lemur, Sakaar and New York City in 2099. In addition, the game will also feature a new four-player battle mode that allows for competitive or cooperative play.

Releasing on November 14, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game will be available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
