LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2: Inhumans Steal the Spotlight in New Promo

The Inhuman royal family has invaded the latest trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. In a special Inhumans-themed trailer, Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Triton and Lockjaw battle the self-proclaimed "Maximus the Great," who has stolen Attilan's throne.

The new trailer showcases the Inhumans' different powers, from Medusa's prehensile hair to Crystal's ability to wield the elements. Gorgon also gets in on the action, stomping his way through his enemies. Not to be outdone, Black Bolt uses world-shattering voice to teach his brother Maximus a lesson he won't be forgetting anytime soon.

Like any LEGO game, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 also has its fair share of humor. In one scene, Lockjaw can be seen running in his sleep, while Medusa blow dries her hair in another. The gameplay footage appears to show Attilan as a playable arena, as Inhumans from all walks of life wander the streets.

Curiously, Black Bolt's cousin Karnak -- who can find the flaw in all things -- is missing from the fray. However, the rest of the Inhuman royal family shows up in at least one scene or another. Together, they will have to stop Maximus as well as Kang, the time-travelling antagonist of the game.

During Electronic Entertainment Expo E3, Arthur Parsons -- head designer at series developer TT Games -- explained why he thinks Lockjaw is a perfect fit for the game. Not only is he a giant dog, “he can teleport [and] he’s an absolute fiend when it comes to fighting bad guys and everything else.”
