LEGO formally announced that fans of PlayStation's Horizon Forbidden West will soon be able to build their very own Tallneck.

Revealed via the official PlayStation Blog, the LEGO Group dropped a brief trailer highlighting the build. The set comprises 1,222 individual pieces and includes a unique minifigure of franchise protagonist Aloy. While the Tallneck itself is the focal piece, gamers will also recognize a small recreation of a Watcher, another robotic creature encountered in both Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West. Once completed, the towering creature will stand 13.5 inches tall (34cm) and includes a base that is fitted with a LEGO birch tree and a rusty traffic light. The set will retail for $80 USD.

"I fell in love with Horizon Zero Dawn the first time I played it," said LEGO Model Designer Isaac Snyder. "It’s a futuristic world full of gorgeous scenery, strong characters, threatening machines, and a rich story. The Guerrilla designers were a huge inspiration and help in capturing the spirit of this universe in LEGO form. The Horizon fan community is so creative, and this model is dedicated to their passion and imagination."

The Tallneck first made an appearance in 2017, when it quickly became one of the most iconic creatures featured in Horizon Zero Dawn. The lumbering beasts patrol certain areas of the world, allowing quick players to scale them and survey the surrounding location for any points of interest. A Tallneck also featured prominently in the announcement trailer for the upcoming PlayStation VR game Horizon: Call of the Mountain.

Horizon Forbidden West is arguably one of 2022's most anticipated games. Players will once again step into the role of Aloy as she travels to a strange and distant land on a quest to rebuild a powerful machine that could save the world from devastating natural disasters. The sequel promises to expand on all the systems introduced in Guerilla Games' smash hit Horizon Zero Dawn. Fans can expect a completely revamped combat system that allows for more player expression as well as traversal mechanics that take advantage of the game's sprawling map.

The LEGO Tallneck will be available from May 2022. Gamers looking to kill some time before the set arrives will be able to explore the vibrant world of Horizon Forbidden West when it releases for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on Feb. 18.
