LEGO and Disney have teamed up once again to announce the Disney Train and Station LEGO set, the perfect collector's item for avid block-builders and Disney fans alike. With close to 3,000 pieces, this set will make you feel like you've been transported to the entrance of Magic Kingdom or Disneyland itself.

The Disney Train and Station set takes inspiration from the same style of trains seen at Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California. The set itself comes with 16 curved and 4 straight railroad track pieces, a motorized steam-style locomotive with tender, passenger car, parlor car and a Disney parks-style train station that stands over 15 inches tall. It also includes five Disney minifigures, with Minnie Mouse and Goofy in their traditional Disney attire while Mickey dons the engineer uniform and Chip and Dale dress up in snazzy suits. Sorry Donald, maybe next time.

As part of LEGO's "Powered Up" series, this new set won't be a dormant toy after completion. Rather, builders can make the train move and activate sound effects through a smartphone app via Bluetooth. The parlor car and station also come equipped with interior setups for the minifigures to lounge in as they set off on the tracks.

The price of the ticket to get on this train is going to cost a pretty penny of $329.99 USD. Still, whether the price agrees with your wallet or not, this set is going to look fantastic alongside the Disney Castle LEGO set.

Collectors will be able to purchase the Disney Train and Station LEGO set from LEGO stores and shop.LEGO.com on September 1. However, if you're a LEGO VIP member, you can jump the gun and buy the set on August 19.
