'LEGO Dimensions' unveils worlds of 'Doctor Who,' 'Back to the Future' and more

Since its announcement, LEGO Dimensions has teased fans with glimpses of the various characters who will make up the game. With a cast made up of Wyldstyle, Batman, Gandalf, Scooby-Doo, Ghostbuster and more, there's almost literally something for every fan to look forward to when the game debuts in late September.

Today, TT Games debuts a look at many of the realms that make up LEGO Dimensions, with hi-resolution screenshots of Scooby-Doo's haunted castle, the ghostbuster's fire station headquarters, The Wizard of Oz's Emerald City, Doctor Who's Dalek battleground, Back to the Future's western world and much more.

LEGO Dimensions revolves around the appearance of a mysterious vortex that sweeps up characters from DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings and The LEGO Movie. It’s up to Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle to save their friends and stop the plot by evil mastermind Lord Vortech to summon villains from different LEGO worlds to help him gain control of the Multiverse.

LEGO Dimensions launches Sept. 27 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Wii U.
