LEGO Debuts SDCC-Exclusive DC and Marvel BrickHeadz

LEGO will preview an upcoming line of collectibles next week at Comic-Con International with limited-edition two-packs featuring DC Comics and Marvel superheroes and one villain.

Called BrickHeadz, it allows builders to create and display blocky versions of iconic characters out of LEGO bricks and elements -- in this case, Captain America, Iron Man, Superman, Wonder Woman, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Batman and The Joker.

According to USA Today, the convention-exclusive two-packs will be available at the LEGO booth for $40 each, but you'll have to return each day of Comic-Con if you want to grab them all.

Batman and The Joker will be offered on Thursday, July 21; Doctor Strange and The Black Panther on Friday, July 22; Superman and Wonder Woman on Saturday, July 23; and Captain America and Iron Man on Sunday, July 24.

The BrickHeadz line officially launches in 2017.
