"The LEGO Batman Movie" dominated the weekend box office, earning $55.6 million haul in its North American debut. However, if you didn't make it to theaters -- or simply can't get enough of Will Arnett's Caped Crusader -- you can also enjoy these special end cards for The CW's DC Comics dramas, which add the Brick Knight into the mix.
In addition to LEGO Batman -- well, his head, in any case -- the custom sequences introduce minifigures of Green Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl.
Directed by Chris McKay from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, the 3D animated spinoff of “The LEGO Movie” features a Batman who must overcome his fear of being part of a family, take responsibility for his adopted son, and learn the importance of teamwork if he hopes to stop The Joker’s takeover of Gotham City. The film is full of Easter eggs for serious Batman fans, along with slapstick humor for all ages. The reviews have been overwhelmingly positive thus far, and the film stands at 91-percent fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
In theaters now, “The LEGO Batman Movie” stars Will Arnett as Batman, Michael Cera as Robin, Zach Galifianakis as Joker, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Mariah Carey as Mayor McCasskill, Jenny Slate as Harley Quinn and Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face.
