Legion’s Mind Explodes In New Series Poster

Following its recent puzzle promo image for the upcoming FX TV series “Legion,” Marvel have recently released a new poster for the show via their Twitter feed.

The image sports the tag line “power comes from within” and shows a colorful cloud of lightning-like flashes emanating from the head of the show’s lead character David Haller, played by “Downton Abbey” alum Dan Stevens.

Haller was first introduced in 1985 in Marvel’s “New Mutants” #25, as a young man with dissociative identity disorder whose personas each control one of his several mutant abilities. According to the show’s official description, “Since he was a teenager, David has struggled with mental illness. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.”
