FX's Legion returns for its second season, and the X-Men spinoff is every bit as weird as viewers remember, with an unreliable narrator in the powerful mutant David Haller, the continuing threat of the Shadow King and, oh, yes, dance numbers.

Picking up nearly a year after David (Dan Stevens) disappeared in a tiny orb in the Season 1 post-credits cliffhanger, Legion's second season finds the mutants of Summerland forming an unlikely alliance with the shadowy government organization known as Division 3 to not only find their friend but also locate Oliver Bird (Jemaine Clement), the new host of the Shadow King, aka Amahl Farouk. All the while, however, Farouk (Navid Negahban) is on a search of his own, for something that will bring him infinite, and possibly world-destroying, power.
