DC's Legion of Super-Heroes are getting new duds for their upcoming reintroduction.

Ahead of Legion of Super-Heroes: Millennium's September release, DC unveiled artist Ryan Sook's new character designs for longtime Legionaries Dawnstar, Dreamgirl, Matter-Eater Lad and Blok, with significant changes to each hero's look. Their new teammate Superboy also stands tall in his own character sheet.

The team will soon star in their own ongoing Legion of Super-Heroes series. Prior to that, writer Brian Michael Bendis will helm Legion of Super-Heroes: Millennium, a two-part series featuring stories with such characters as as Supergirl, Batman Beyond, Kamandi, Tommy Tomorrow, Booster Gold, OMAC and, of course, the Legion of Super-Heroes. The story itself follows a main character, with whom Bendis says fans will be familiar, after she finds herself endowed with immortality. The series will feature work by multiple artists, including Nicola Scott, Jim Cheung, Dustin Nguyen and Jim Lee.

Legion of Super-Heroes: Millennium #1 by Brian Michael Bendis, Jim Lee, Andrea Sorrentino, André Lima Araújo and Dustin Nguyen goes on sale September 4.
