In just over a month, writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Ryan Sook will relaunch the Legion of Super-Heroes title. The highly anticipated return of the fan-favorite super-team from the future already promises to feature new designs for known Legionnaires. What's more, it will also introduce some brand new characters.

In fact, Brian Michael Bendis revealed a list of new characters that will join the ranks of the Legion of Super-Heroes to Den of Geek -- and that includes the introduction of a Gold Lantern.

"I don’t think any of them are oddball," Bendis said of the Legionnaires. "I’m not bullshitting; they’re all awesome. I will say, I’ll plug our new ones. We have Monster Boy coming. We have Gold Lantern coming. We have a new Doctor Fate. So we’ll see the future of magic at DC. Also, I’m getting a lot of positive feedback on the design on Timber Wolf, so I’m very happy to hear that."

In the DC Universe, there are several multi-colored Lantern Corps that cover the emotional spectrum: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. On top of that, there are also Black Lanterns, White Lanterns and the recently unveiled Ultraviolet Corps.
