SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Dancing Queen," the latest episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Maisie Richardson-Sellers has returned to DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but she isn't playing Vixen this time around. In "Dancing Queen," the latest episode, Richardson-Sellers' Charlie made her dynamic debut as a punk-loving shapeshifter. By the end, John Constantine used magic to lock her in her last form: Amaya "Vixen" Jiwe.

The episode sent Sara Lance and the rest of the Legends back to 1977 in London to prevent a local punk band called The Smell from embarrassing the Queen of England. Though Ray had every intention of sitting this one out, he fell in with the band through happenstance and became an honorary member in order to figure out which member was a magical creature.

Soon, Charlie -- who was more-or-less the band's ringleader -- revealed herself as a shapeshifter. As she explained in a tender heart-to-heart, she had been locked up by people who were afraid of her and didn't take the time to understand her. Now that she was back on the mortal plane, she had assumed the form of a woman she had seen in a toothpaste ad on the train. She showed off her powers by transforming into the Queen and back.

As soon as he knew the truth, Ray reported his discovery back to the team. Much to his dismay, they immediately went on the attack, despite his pleas for them to hear her out. A short battle ensued, where Charlie assumed Ray's form and attacked Sara, Rory, Zari and Constantine. Zari ended the fight by pinning her to the wall with her wind powers. Trapped, Charlie transformed into each of them and called them monsters.

This finally got through to the team, but not before Charlie landed on Amaya's form, as Ray had described her as the moral compass of the team. Constantine ceased the incantation that would have sent her to hell and switched tactics; instead, he stripped her of her ability to shapeshift, trapping her in Amaya's form. The Legends then imprisoned her aboard the Waverider, at a loss with what to do with her.

According to Constantine, he cannot restore Charlie's powers as easily as he took them away, so she will be stuck this way for a while. As such, this not only explains why Charlie will look like Vixen for a while, but also why she now has a British accent.

Airing Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Jes Macallan and Courtney Ford.
