DC's Legends of Tomorrow are about to be stars.

In the episode description for "Meet the Legends," the Season 5 premiere, the superhero team has become famous. Since the upcoming season is a sequel to the events of "Crisis on Infinite Earths," it seems the multiverse-ending event has propelled them to stardom.

According to the episode synopsis for "Meet the Legends,"

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION -- Sara (Caity Lotz), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Mick (Dominic Purcell) are shocked to discover that the Legends have become famous. It seems that everyone except Sara is loving the spotlight, so much so that they invite a documentary crew on board the Waverider to film them as they investigate a strange new blip in the Timeline. The Legends discover that their new problem is none other than Rasputin, who happens to be straight out of hell, and it might be tougher than they thought. Meanwhile, Constantine (Matt Ryan) thinks he knows the reason behind these new blips and informs the team that it won't be easy to defeat. Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan and Olivia Swann also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & James Eagan.

What's more, the synopsis is another confirmation that Ray Palmer, aka the Atom, will survive "Crisis." Seeing as the Atom actor Brandon Routh is slated to leave the series, his character's fate was left up in the air, but he will indeed make it out of "Crisis" alive and return for Legends of Tomorrow Season 5.

In Season 5, John Constantine and his teammates will go up against Astra Logue, the little girl he once failed to save. Now grown, Astra is looking to fill the power vacuum left behind by the arch-demon Neron when the Legends defeated him. The cliffhanger ending of last season found her cashing in some of the most evil souls in history, like Genghis Khan and Charles Manson, which suggests the Legends will battle these historical figures in Season 5. First up to bat: Rasputin.

Returning on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 9 pm ET/PT, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Jes Macallan and Courtney Ford.
