DC's Legends of Tomorrow have another mess to clean up. In an extended preview for Season 4, the team of time-traveling superheroes finds themselves facing off against a host of unholy terrors.

In true Legends fashion, of course, the promo is packed to the brim with wacky exploits and pop culture references -- mostly to horror movies, of course. For instance, Time Bureau Director Ava Sharpe finds herself facing off against a possessed puppet that looks like Martin Stein, while the team poses as counselors at a camp ripped right out of Friday the 13th. In another scene, Nate runs after a sentient plant that looks like it came from Little Shop of Horrors, and Sara finds herself face-to-face with a monster that looks suspiciously like Godzilla.

Now that the show is taking a turn for the magical, John Constantine has boarded the Waverider as a full time crew member. Naturally, he brings a certain air of magical expertise, which makes him exactly the right character to namedrop Swamp Thing at the 1:24-minute mark.

In what is likely a reference to WB's Justice League film, Ray Palmer -- played by Superman Returns star Brandon Routh -- sports a very fake mustache that gets ripped in half later on in the trailer. The promo also reveals Back to the Future star Tom Wilson's Arrowverse debut as Nate Heywood's father Hank; so far, he doesn't seem terribly impressed with his son's new job.

Returning to The CW on Monday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Jes Macallan and Courtney Ford.
