Welcome to the Arrowverse, Enchantress.

In "The Great British Fake Off," the latest episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Charlie revealed how she hid the final piece of the Loom of Fate. This time, she got a little help from her friend Enchantress in order to do so.

Charlie revealed how she hid the Loom piece through a flashback to ancient Egypt. The scene showed her enter a temple, where she approached a woman playing a harp. "Oh, there you are," Charlie said. "It's always the artsy types with you, ain't it?"

"How many times must I tell you my powers are not a tool for your amusement, Clotho?" Enchantress shot back. With that, she lifted her arms and spoke her name. With that, she transformed into her true self. "I imagine this has something to do with your theft of the Loom of Fate?" she prompted, speaking with her true voice.

"You disapprove?" Charlie asked, to which Enchantress replied, "No. Humanity's status quo should be shaken up every few millennia. It's good for them."

"Well, I'm glad you think so, because this is a pretty big shakeup," she said, producing the Loom piece. "I need to make sure that no one ever finds this. Not even me, and especially not Lachesis. You think you could do that?"

"It is you, Clotho, that has the difficult task," Enchantress warned. "I'm relieving you of a piece of the Loom that has been your entire reason for existence. Now that you are free of it, it'll be up to determine what, if anything, is left of Clotho in its wake."

"All I need is to make sure that that ring is never found," Charlie insisted. "Existential actualization can come later."

In response, Enchantress curled her fingers around the Loom piece, and it vanished. Unbeknownst to Charlie or the other Legends, she cast a spell on it so that it could not be found if it was sought. As a result, John Constantine and Zari went on a wild goose chase to try and find it; it wasn't until they were too distracted by each other that the piece appeared to them.

As it turned out, Enchantress had a hand in their discovery. She disguised herself as an oblivious old woman, who once ran the boarding house that would eventually become his home. As the Legends picked up their things and returned to the Waverider, he approached her. "Here's me thinking you weren't allowed to meddle anymore," he said slyly. "Could have been a touch more direct!"

"I'm sure I don't know what you mean," she giggled. However, when he left, she returned to her true form. "See you around, John Constantine," she added. This seems to suggest she will return to the show down the line and that her fate is intertwined with Constantine's in some way.

Enchantress debuted in 1966's Strange Adventures #187 by Bob Haney and Howard Purcell. In the comics, Enchantress is the alter ego of a mild-mannered woman named June Moon. By speaking the name Enchantress, June transforms into a powerful sorceress. She was eventually recruited to the Suicide Squad to keep her teammates in check, and her alter ego was revealed to be a villainous entity in and of itself. Notably, she appeared in 2016's The Suicide Squad film, where she was played by Cara Delevingne.

Airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan and Jes Macallan.
