DC's Legends of Tomorrow star Dominic Purcell knows he's in the best Arrowverse show and he isn't afraid to say it. During a set visit attended by CBR, the Heatwave actor explained what Legends has that the rest of the Arrowverse doesn't.

"Well, I think I made it very clear in one Instagram post that I thought the first season was not very good at all. I mean, everyone agrees with that. We didn't know what the fuck we were doing," he recalled. "Second season, things started to change. Within midseason, second season, the writers and everyone became much more in line with the humor aspects of it, and then from Season 3, it's just really started to build."

"I mean, they're obviously different genres. I mean, Arrow, it's all a different thing, but I think Legends is the best out of the Arrowverse and I'm not afraid to say that," he continued. "I think the others are kind of like a worn-out boot at this point, but the great thing about Legends is that it has places to go. I mean, it's a never-ending creative possibility."

As part of the Arrowverse, Legends of Tomorrow spun out of its sister series Arrow and The Flash. The show's first season cherry-picked characters from across the Arrowverse, including Sara "White Canary" Lance and Captain Cold, and took them on an adventure through time. Since then, the show's roster has rotated; the team lost some of its original members and replaced them with heroes new to the universe. Now, with all of time and the DC Multiverse before them, the Legends do indeed have "never-ending" possibilities.

Returning for its midseason premiere on Monday, April 1 at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Jes Macallan and Courtney Ford.
