DC's Legends of Tomorrow may be piloting the Waverider back through time to the early days of former President Barack Obama.

TV Line reports the CW drama plans to delve into the teenage years of Obama for an upcoming episode of Season 3. Casting is under way for an actor to play Obama.

The episode, penned by staff writers Keto Shimizu and James Eagan, is said to be set in the 1980s, during Obama's time as a student at Occidental College. While details are sparse, the website contends the episode is set to enter production in early February, for an April premiere.

This will mark the third former president to be showcased on the series. Early in Season 3, Legends introduced Lyndon B. Johnson, played by Peter Hall. A Season 2 episode featured George Washington, portrayed by Randall Batinkoff.

Returning Monday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen and Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel.
